Kids Shine Preteen Sundays

Ready to put on your running shoes and fast-track through the New Testament?  Excellent - cuz that's what we're doing every Sunday morning in Kids Shine Preteens!  Kids from Grade 1 to Grade 6 are dismissed from the services (we like you to be part of the worship with your family!) with our preteens (Grades 5 and 6) heading off to Room 206 (beside the Library) for their special class.  Come on out and find out how we can be "Kingdom Kids" who are truly following Jesus.  It's an awesome time of super-great discussion with amazingly great teachers!  Hope to see you there :)

Kids Shine Preteen Small Groups

Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday evening is Kids Shine Preteen Small Groups - our mentoring time for Grade 5 and 6 kids.  Small Groups are all about building Christian friendships, enjoying out-of-this-world fun and growing deeper in our relationship with God.  This year in Preteens we're GRAPPLING with all kinds of super topics just for you!  In fact, our study is called GRAPPLE!  How about joining us from 6:30-8:00pm in Room 201.  We'd love to see you there.  (Cost for the year - $30/child - includes a T shirt).

Drop-in Sports for Kids

Looking to have fun with your friends or make new friends? Come to Kids Shine Drop in Sports and learn some great team sports with awesome coaching! And it's free! You'll find the gym full of Grade 1-6 kids on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings - 6:30-8:00pm. Come on - have some fun! 

Kids Shine Sleepover

Every Spring we have a "non-sleepover" sleepover at the church!  Such a blast with a hundred Grade 1-6 kids and loads of leaders!  Yes, we go home exhausted - but well-fed and super happy!  Watch for details in the Spring.  You won't want to miss it!

Kids Shine Families

Parents - looking for something fun to do together as a family?  Every 5th Tuesday of the month is our Kids Shine Family Fun Night at Peace Portal!  Always something fun and very, very affordable!  Check out our calendar for details.

Or maybe you are wanting some Parent Help on raising great kids?  We're here for you!  Every month we publish our Parent Link Newsletter that's filled with helpful article and ideas and periodiclaly we sponsor a fabulous workshop or seminar!

Kids Shine Summers

VBS

Imagine 300 kids (preschool - Grade 5) and over 120 leaders (Grade 6 - age 86) all worshipping and playing and laughing and learning and celebrating together for a whole week!  That's a Kids Shine kind of VBS during the summer!  Make sure you put July12-16, 2010 on your calendar ... you won't want to miss the adventure!

Grade 6 students are apprenticed as a "leader in training".  A great experience and opportunity to unselfishly serve others.  You can contact Pastor Vicki for details.

AIA Soccer Camp

Plus ... summertime in Kids Shine also brings our amazingly, awesome, annual AIA Soccer Camp!  New players to experienced players love it - and you will too!  Keep July 26-30, 2010, open and lace up your soccer shoes!  

Preteen Special Events!

We LOVE our Preteens at PPAC and want their last years in Children's Ministry to be AMAZING - and their transition into Youth ... smooth.  That's why they have their own Sunday class and teachers ... their own leaders and curriculum (Grapple) for Small Groups ... and special events just for them.  If you want info on what's coming - just call the church office! And if you come - expect some fun :)
