Little Kids Shine Sundays

Age 2 – Kindergarten 

In the Beginning…Growing into a Life of Faith

Children are jumping into God’s story through the teaching of key scriptural truths that lay the spiritual foundation that a young person needs in order to enter a personal relationship with Jesus.  Concepts, stories, vocabulary, and music are chosen to be concrete and easy for preschoolers to comprehend.   Yummy snacks too!  All of our Little Kids Shine Preschool classes raise money all year for our partnership friends in the children’s homes in Mpigii, Uganda through our Big Difference Program.  During both Sunday Services.  Preschool Wing located in the Upper Ministry Centre (Rooms 202,203,204,205).

Little Kids Shine is Ready to Make a BIG Difference!  

Our preschoolers are making friends in Uganda!  Each of our Sunday morning classes has a friend (Zahara, Liz, Kato and Wasswa) from the Suubi (meaning Hope) Home in Uganda, we are parterning with them - wanting to make a BIG Difference.  The preschoolers bring a small offering with them on Sundays mornings which is collected in their class, during teaching time.    

Little Kids Shine Cubbies

Ages 3 & 4

A program that helps home become the primary place for spiritual training.  Cubbies is fun with a purpose – to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.  Tuesday mornings from 9am – 11am while moms go to their Bible Studies at Ladies Morning Break, age 3 & 4 year olds. 

Requirement: Parents to do book work with their children in preparation for lessons.  Cost: $40 new child / $35 for returning Cubbies.  

Little Kids Shine Child Dedications

An opportunity for parents to commit themselves before God to raise their child(ren) in the discipline of biblical principles. Talk to Pastor Farrah for more details or to set up your dedication.

Little Kids Shine Playtime

A monthly activity for parents and their preschoolers that will focus on building relationships with one another, while engaging our community with outings and activities such as visits to nearby seniors' care facilities and preparing gifts for children in need.  E-mail Pastor Farrah to be added to our family playtime events e-mail.

Kids Shine Volunteers

Volunteers are a necessity to keep our programs running.  Please consider volunteering, you'll be a bright light in the lives of these impressionable little ones.  Volunteer commitment is One Sunday/One Service per month for a Four month Term.  From Teachers, Helpers, Nursery Volunteers, Administration, there is a special place for you!  

Requirement: Complete a Children's Ministry Application & Criminal Record Check
