Kids Shine Sundays
Ready to put on your running shoes and fast-track through the New Testament? Excellent - cuz that's what we're doing every Sunday morning at Kids Shine! Kids from Grades 1-4 will be dismissed from the church services to room 201 (upper level Ministry Centre) and Grades 5-6 to room 206 (beside the Library). Come on out and find out how we can be "Kingdom Kids" who are truly following Jesus. Ahhh - there's so little time and so much to learn!!! Let's get running!
Kids Shine Small Groups
Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday evening is Kids Shine Small Groups - our mentoring time for Grades 1 - 4 kids and Grades 5-6 preteens. These Small Groups are all about building Christian friendships, enjoying out-of-this-world fun and growing deeper in our relationship with God. This year's study for Grades 1-4 is called Love REVOLution, loving God - loving others! Each time we meet we Praise & Worship with the Pastor Jeff & Journey Youth Band, spend time learning, playing crazy games and getting to know eachother in a small group setting. Small Groups are broken down by grade/gender and are lead by incredible leaders! So come on out and join the revolution!
At the same time our Grade 5 and 6 kids will be Grappling with some great preteen issues! How about joining us from 6:30-8:00pm? Would love to see you there! (Cost for the year - $30/child) (Info on our Grades 5-6 program can be viewed under the PRETEEN link.)
Kids Shine Drop-In Sports
Looking to have fun with your friends or make new friends? Come to Kids Shine Drop in Sports and learn some great team sports with awesome coaching! And it's free! You'll find the gym full of Grade 1-6 kids on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings - 6:30-8:00pm. Come on - have some fun!
Kids Shine Choir
If you are in Grades 2-6 and LOVE to sing ... then we'd love to have you in our choir! Under the amazing direction of Lori-Jean Ma, our children are being well trained, having fun and given regular opportunities to perform. The choir meets from September to mid-May. Rehearsals are every Tuesday from 5:00-6:15pm in the Chapel.
Kids Shine Small Groups Sleepover
Every Spring we have a "non-sleepover" sleepover at the church! Such a blast with a hundred elementary kids and loads of leaders. Yes, we go home exhausted - but well-fed and super happy! Watch for details in the new year. You won't want to miss it!
Kids Shine Families
Parents - looking for something fun to do together as a family? Every 5th Tuesday of the month is our Kids Shine Family Fun Night at Peace Portal! Always something fun and very, very affordable! Check out our calendar for details.

Kids Shine Summers
VBS
Imagine 300 kids (preschool - Grade 5) and over 120 leaders (Grade 6 - age 86!) all worshipping and playing and laughing and learning and celebrating together for a whole week! That's a Kids Shine kind of VBS during the summer. Make sure you have July 11-15, 2011 on your calendars ... you won't want to miss Big Apple Adventure!
